Section 01

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and Budgex ("we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the Simple Password Generator mobile application ("App").

By installing, accessing, or using the App you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Section 02

Description of the App

Simplest Password Generator is a utility application that generates random passwords, passphrases, and numeric PINs on your device. The App is designed as a generation tool — not a password manager or vault.

Key characteristics of the App:

• All generation happens locally on your device using a cryptographically secure random number generator.
• No passwords, passphrases, or PINs are stored, logged, transmitted, or synced anywhere.
• No account, registration, or sign-in is required to use any feature.
• Generated data exists only in temporary memory and is discarded when you leave the relevant screen or close the App.

Section 03

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a personal device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the App.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App.
• Use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair the App or interfere with any other party's use of it.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.

Section 04

Acceptable Use

The App is intended to help you create strong credentials for legitimate personal or professional use. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

You are solely responsible for how you use, store, and manage any passwords or credentials generated by the App. We do not store or have access to any generated output.

Section 05

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, graphics, and all related content, is owned by Budgex and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.

"Simple Password Generator," the Cipher Dial logo, and associated branding are proprietary to Budgex. You may not use our name, logo, or branding without prior written consent.

Section 06

Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — displays banner and occasional interstitial advertisements to fund the free App.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects anonymized crash reports to help us identify and fix stability issues.
• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how the App is used.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging — used to send optional feature or tip notifications (you can decline this permission).

We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party providers. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

Section 07

Advertisements

The App is free to use and supported by advertising through Google AdMob. A non-intrusive banner ad is displayed persistently on the Home and Settings screens. An interstitial ad may appear after a CSV batch export, subject to frequency caps.

Advertisements are served by Google and are subject to Google's advertising policies. We do not control the content of individual ads.

Section 08

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Password strength ratings provided by the App are indicative estimates only and do not guarantee the security of any generated credential.

You are solely responsible for your use of any passwords, passphrases, or PINs generated by the App. We strongly recommend using generated credentials only in combination with other security best practices.

Section 09

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Budgex and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or security breaches — arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. As the App is currently free, this amount is zero.

Section 10

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy describes what data we collect (which is minimal), how we use it, and your rights. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

As a core design principle: the App never collects, stores, or transmits any passwords, passphrases, or PINs you generate.

Section 11

App Store Terms

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Your download and use of the App is also subject to the applicable terms of those platforms:

• Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA)
• Google Play Terms of Service

In the event of any conflict between these Terms and the applicable app store terms, the app store terms shall take precedence with respect to platform-specific obligations.

Section 12

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you — for example, via an in-app notice or push notification.

Your continued use of the App after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.

Section 13

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored preferences are removed from your device. No other data persists, as none was ever stored.

Section 14

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the developer's jurisdiction, to the extent permitted by law.
